Follow the Primal Blueprint! There are so many tweaks within the program that can help but different specific approaches work best for different people. For me it's eat lots of veggies for volume but very little sweet fruit, focus on fairly low-calorie foods such as eggs, seafood, meat, green olives, avocados rather than lots of butter, oil, cheese, cream, bacon, nuts etc. And don't always keep chocolate in the house! Oh, and low-quality salt in foods such as cheese, nuts and olives seem to cause water retention for me.
Primal since May 2012. Loving life and down 50lbs.

Lift weights... the heaviest you can, slow with lots of control. If you still want to do cardio... do it after you lift so that your body is forced to burn fat rather than glycogen. When you lift before cardio you will burn glycogen when lifting, but if you lift after cardio, you will burn muscle tissue, which is bad. Heth's advice about food is great.

    ^This is a great one.

I have made many a misstep in the last 9 months (well, maybe calling deliberate choices missteps isn't entirely accurate), but my motto is "every bite is a new choice". Giving up is the worse than any single bite you take.

Go low carbs, save carbs for later in the day, you'll sleep better, and exercise everyday, start walking, even for 10 mins at a time.

I'd have to say that if you insist on using a scale to help measure fat lass, don't weigh yourself every day. The little day to day normal fluctuations in weight will drive you insane, and it's much more satisfying to see a bigger loss at the end of a week or two (or longer!) then to see the scale go down only a few ounces at a time. If possible, just let the mirror, your clothing, and other people be the judge of how well you are doing!

Buy the PB and follow it along with the fitness plan.....Oh, and don't look at the forums until you've done so for at least 3 months.

This and a big part of the PBF is to get your butt out from behind the computer and start walking. You don't have to be an Olympic class athlete. Just move. Every day.

Eat natural, real foods, move around a lot and don't overindulge in any food. Too much of a good stuff is bad.
