I would loooooooove to do a max squat of 170 pounds, bench 90 pounds, and power clean of 75 pounds while maintaining my weight at 117 or less.
A unassisted pull up would be a dream

Push-up progress has been slow since I gained entry into the gym at work. Been doing presses and curls, chin-ups and pull-ups, and dips more than push-ups. But I just dropped and did 30 good push-ups in one set, so I haven't lost strength. I think I'll just simply start doing more push-ups! Plain and simple. Maybe a simple month-long plan like I see on facebook all the time would do.

What is the concenes with pistol squats, does parallel count or do I need to go lower?

I think going lower is actually more a function of your hip flexor strength on the opposite leg (I know this is true for myselft anyhow). Really, its whatever you decide it is though

1 set of 39 push-ups. Number is rising quickly now that I'm sticking to it!

Almost at my pullup! Well, my arms bend into an acute angle now, anyhows.
I rarely talk to people about Paleo/Primal, but, when I do, it's when they're NOT complaining about their weight or health.

You see, I don't really "do" pity. And one thing I've learned about people is that they're more open to suggestion when they're happy and stable. When they complain they only ever want pity, not to be advised.

Did 325lbs for four reps yesterday

How are the goals progressing for the rest of you?

something i really want to be able to do is a pistol squat, at least one with each leg. i do assisted pistols every week, but i'm just having trouble with the balance part of it while i'm going down. i'm confident i'll be able to do it though

I set a goal at the first of the year to do over a thousand miles this year on my treadmill and as of may first i was at 360 miles for the year !!! Not bad for a guy who couldnt walk through the grocery store for 20 mins a couple years ago !! I have Ddd and have suffered for a few years but after finding primal and my inner motivation my life has been changed forever !! Awesome thread !!

My shoulders now touch the bar for 3 reps. Only two out of the three or four sets I do on pullup days, but it's something, especially after several months going backward and forward (setbacks, weeks off...etc).
Looking forward to doing a full one.
