maybe you're just very empathic? I tend to tear up at some ads (others make me want to break the tv) or cutsey pictures etc
My doctor said I have some kind of chemical imbalance so that I get tearing easily. However, nothing significant showing up on my blood test. At this time, doctor prescribes nothing and I'm glad that she didn't because I really don't want to be depending on any anti-depression drug.
I am a pretty active and happy person, but when there is any slightly soft story I found myself easily crying inside (with tearing eye). In some cases, it happened when I just recited a story or mentioned some events in a normal conversation with friends. I'm aware of the problem and do tell my friends about the condition. I know how to deal with it well when it comes; however, I really want to know if any of you know about this and have found a good way to deal with it through better eating habits.
I'm looking for good experiments that any of you have tried and the progress. TIA!

It could be, Bron. Although, I haven't found any ad that I want to break the TV yet.
I guess, I started to experience this when I passed 30. Since I do work with mostly male co-workers and many times as team lead, I do want to be more in control. I used to not cry at all through out high school and college and feeling in control and strong LOL. Now yeah, I tend to tear up at some ads
which I knew I wouldn't feel as emotional when I was younger.
I do feel that I have a lot more control now then when I first noticed it though. I have to say I'd rather cry more than taking the medicine that made me feel like I have no heart. It freaked me out and I decide to quite cold-turkey without doctor advice. She knew it after I already quit the prescription for a year. The medicine caused me to forget things also. I really don't like to take any pill of any kind.

I'm sorry, hon, I think it's nuts to take a pill to dull your emotions or reactionsSounds like you're more mature and caring now than when you were in school
