I find if I don't have a snack with some carbs I can't sleep, it's pretty essential to my sleep routine. I'm dairy free and a standard go to snack is some warmed pumpkin with some ginger and an egg white cooked into it....and a cup of tea

Usually it's a glass of red wine and a square of 85% dark chocolate. Sometimes I'll snatch a piece of whatever grilled meat my husband has made for his late supper and the smell drives me nuts until I have some of it. He doesn't usually eat until around 9:30pm (farmers hours), uses the grill year-round.

I like chocolates because they are sweet but I never eat them on daily because they increase the cholesterol levels. But the dark chocolate is the good in this case because they don't disturb the cholesterol level. Anyhow good thread. I like it.

I don't eat to much so my last meal would be 6:00PM and onwards I will not eat, So basically I don't have a snack before bedtime. If ever, a healthy snack will do and water.

I usually make a large batch of applesauce and slowly make my way through that as a bedtime snack for a week or however long it lasts. It just has mashed apples and sometimes a tiny bit of maple syrup, so it's easy. I love having a little bowl of something to eat before bed, plus the carbs make me feel warm and put me right to sleep.

When I have a bedtime snack, it's called DESSERT!

last night was an apple, chopped and cooked in cinnamon butter, served with a very small portion of cocoa roasted almonds.

I don't usually have a bed time snack because I'm typically just not hungry after dinner, but when I am hungry I usually opt for eggs of some sort or I just munch on some cold leftover meat

My snack last night was a smoothie:

    2 handful of blueberries
2 large scoops of plain yogurt
    Ice
    Teeny bit of honey
Little bit of milk for consistency
    Starting Weight - 280lbs
    Current - 280bs
Goal - Around 200lbs(will be focusing on the mirror and not the scale then)
Working hard to make a healthier and more active me.
