    Bizarre Diets

    Primal Fuel
The starting of a new year is the time for weight-loss for many people and the high seasons for all kinds of fad diets to lose a couple of pounds or maybe more. Some diets works for fat-loss others only dehydrates the body and the poor dieter experience the yo-yo effect and a rocket like rebound when finishing the fad.

So, this is the place for posting and discussing all those strange and bizarre eating plans out there, and first candidate out is “The Marilyn Monroe Diet":

Breakfast: Two raw eggs in milk
Dinner: A slab of meat with four or five raw carrots
Evening meal: Wil Wright's hot fudge sundae

Marylin was certainly beautiful, but I'd be surprised if she could lift a cat.

Remember the air diet? The idea was to eat things like cheezy poofs and other fluffy food with lots of air in it, to fill up your stomach with air so you'd feel full on "less." Sounds like one belch away from complete and utter failure.

My SIL was talking about going on a diet she saw in some magazine. Low fat, low carb, low calorie, with all the fake foods you could get your hands on.

Just a note. Marilyn was reportedly a size 10-12 in the 1950s and 60s when sizes actually had specific standards. Since the advent of vanity sizes, I'm guessing Marilyn would be somewhere between a size 0 and a size 4. When I could squeeze my still plump ass into sixes and eights at 150 pounds, I just laughed. Also, I have a size 12 denim skirt from the 1980s (I rarely throw away denim skirts or black dresses) that has a narrower waist and hips than a size 6 denim skirt from five years ago.

Bizarre-est diet ever: eat six small meals a day and get 60% of your calories from grains and legumes.

Marilyn actually did a lot of light weights before it became popular to do so. Her diet looks primal enough, except for the sundae, but that could be her 20% :P

True to this. Sounded pretty good to me up to the sundae....like you said 20%.

I'm gonna go with the "sensa" diet. Eat all you want! Just sprinkle this on your food! Hell you can buy it right at Target so it must be good!
