Eating raw eggs for fats, minerals/vitamins, good idea?
Its basically to save time in the mornings. Since I'm working out I'll be taking protein shakes in the morning, they are pretty nutritionally devoid so they need something extra. Eggs are amazing but if I don't have to cook/blend them its even better.
As far as I'm aware the only downside to eating raw eggs is that the protein is less bioavailable, but I'm not that bothered about the protein. I want it for the fats, cholesterol, etc I may be wrong though.
Is there any downsides to eating eggs raw apart from protein bioavailability?
