    I will be doing sugar water when we go to Disneyland for a few days, since I can't bring oil with me to States. Kindda curious about the effects. Too bad I did not read that part of the book carefully, I don't know how much sugar I need to take in a shot, I am guessing a couple TBSP to match calories of oil....

    I know that sugar-less gum always acted as appetite suppressor for me as well as diet pop. But diet pop mechanism is carbonation/bloat, I think.

    Kinda funny story...I went over to my local health food store to pick up some MCT oil. When I went to pay for it the lady asked"was this stuff on the Dr. Oz show or something"? I said I didn't know because I don't watch it.She replied "I can't seem to keep it on the shelves lately".

    I love MCT oil --- I take 1 Tbsp in the mornings and I'm jacked with energy for the rest of the day. That, and my bullet coffee and I'm ready to roll! /lu

    I have been taking 2 tbsp. of unrefined CO since Friday and it seems to be working quite well ( weighed yesterday and I was down 2.3 pounds since Wednesday). The MCT oil says to start out taking 1 tsp. in case of severe stomach cramps . I took a tsp.,but I am thinking that because I have been taking the CO with no problems that I should be able to up my dosage to 2 tbsp. a day right away. What do you think?

    Update

    January 16th was my last day of eating
    high carb and I was 128.8.

    January 17th was my first day of starting
    higher fat, moderate protein, low carb & shangri-la.
    That day I was 127.4

    Today, February 4th I'm 123.2

    19 days, even if it's allllll water...

    SOMETHING is working.

    I think 2-2.5 T. of sugar is equal to 1 T. of oil. Watch out for the MAJOR sugar crash. I felt awful for a few hours afterward. Actually there was no high, just the crash. The AS it produced was amazing though. I did take it at the same time as a T. of oil also, I read someone else talk about how it was most effective for them when the two are combined. I have never done the sugar separately, so I don't know if the oil was part of the great AS effect.
