Well, potatoes are really heavy and green leafies are really light, so if you went ounce for ounce on them you'd end up eating a LOT of green leafies. I think in general it probably works well to go unlimited on any green leafy and have one (sweet) potato at dinner (or half if it's really big). Start there and adjust as needed. Many people will tell you not to limit potatoes, but if you are like me and spent a lifetime thinking corn and potatoes were veggies and chard and spinach were only for rare occasions, it's probably good to limit potatoes until your tastes change.
