Hey everybody, I'm fairly new to this lifestyle and am interested in hearing what your main staples are in your kitchen.

So far I've got the coconut milk, coconut oil, eggs, bacon, meats & veggies but are there other really great items out there that you love???

Sorry if this has been asked before, couldn't find it on the forum.

    Top 5......

    Butter
    Fish oil supplement (omega 3)
    duck/goose fat
    beef
    lamb

(I could generalise to "meat" but bacon is a treat and I go through phases of not liking pork, or not fancying any more chicken...)

So, Pavel Tsouline said something really funny once... He said that Eggs are good because they keep baby chickens from being born. ;D

    *bewildered blinking*
I remember talking to a former boss about her veganism, trying to work out if it was a political, ethical, welfare-related, or random choice. So I asked if she would eat eggs if she kept the chickens herself so could guarantee good treatment. She said no, "cos it's a chicken period, ewww".

Some people are just too squeamish!

I didn't say she could get a rooster and eat embryos instead of periods....
