Am I eating too less ? 7 lbs lost in 5 days
I am a newbie here. I started living the primal way from the 22nd of this month. Since then I have lost 7 lbs. That is 7lbs in 5 days!! Is this healthy? do I need to up my carb intake to slow down the weight loss. I currently manage about 50 gms of carb a day. I weigh 228 lbs on a 5ft 7 frame. I have a lot of weight to loose. I am worried about loose skin due to rapid weight loss. Can anyone shed some light on this.
Since I went primal, I have trouble falling asleep with hot flushes to go with it. Is this a sign of Ketosis or Carb flu?
Sounds like some/a lot/all of that's just water weight to me. If you're feeling good and losing weight (which clearly is one of your goals), I'd keep going with it.
If you are going to add carbs, some people find that having them within a few hours of going to bed help with the issues you mentioned.
