First, how would eating a cup (227 calories) be stuffing yourself? Second as you see above, they certainly arent empty, calorie for calorie they are up there with red meat. Third, why would eating beans mean that you are not eating healthy. Forth, it doesnt matter if its calorie for calorie, you would have to eat pounds of veggies to get the same nutrition, not to many people are interested in doing that.
