    Primal staples!

    Primal Fuel
Maybe someone here can help. The other week I found and read a post, that listed the necessary staples to have in your kitchen/pantry to enable you to cook whatever whenever. I can't find anymore, either a little help. Or what do you consider the necessary staples to have stocked at all times, besides meat, vegetables etc.? Thanks

Things I always have in my pantry:

    Coconut milk
    Canned, diced tomatoes
    Tomato paste
    Olive oil & coconut oil
Wide variety of herbs and spices
    Variety of nuts
    Olives
    Artichoke hearts
    Chicken and beef stock
    Canned chiles and hot sauces
    Variety of vinegars
    Wine
    Lime and lemon juice

I don't know about whatever, whenever -- but I can ALWAYS get a good meal out of the basics.

to the basic lists of oils, spices, nuts, vinegars, etc.

Wow, I really don't have that much.

    Meat
    Eggs
    Tallow/Lard/Butter
    Herbs & Spices

If I have those 4 things, I'm happy. Everything else is optional- lol.

spices: smoked paprika, turmeric, cumin, tarragon, sea salt, freshly ground peppercorns, oregano, basil, grated lemon & orange peel, dill, fresh garlic (I peel it and throw in a jar when I'm bored)

fats: coconut ghee, olive oil, bacon grease, greek yogurt, heavy cream, avocado, sesame tahini, almond butter

liquids: lemon & lime juice, rice wine (dirt cheap at asian markets), sriracha sauce, tzatziki sauce, tamari, rice vinegar

veggies: sprouts, green leaf lettuce, kale, collard greens, spinach, vine tomatoes, eggplant,

rainy-day/carb-up foods: red lentils, jasmine rice, red quinoa, boniatos, dried chickpeas, black beans

drinks: cold green tea, yerba mate, chamomille, and some sort of fruity/floral tea (hibiscus, mango, passionfruit) to flavor iced tea

proteins: eggs, sausage, bacon, gyro meat, and chicken breast - that's all I can afford right now

snacks: sprouted lentils, almonds, hazelnuts, hemp seeds, macadamia nuts, walnuts, baby carrots w/baba ghanoush, almond butter, or tzatziki

tools: tea strainer, wooden spoon, Supreme Wooden Greek Spatula of Punishment & Retribution (+5 lightning bolt), 800,000 mason jars of various sizes, sweet looking bottles to put oils in and impress the wimmenz
