Costco has 54 oz coconut oil - $16.99!

Carrington Farms, unrefined, organic, cold pressed, from Philippines. Best deal I've seen. Costco is pretty cutting edge for a mainstream store - grass-fed butter, grass-fed ground beef and they are opening their own beef processing plant in California soon. I think they want to source more grass-fed beef and found they couldn't do it without the processing plant. Hope, hope, hope!

    Seconding the great taste.

I got some a few months ago and finally finished up the jar of the other brand so I could open this one. Took a spoonful and seriously felt like I was eating a Mounds bar. Freaking awesome if you like any kind of a coconut taste at all.

I got one too, and enjoying it, esp. in my coffee in the morning. what a deal.
Costco doesn't always continue all its products. I hope it does this one.

Do they have Costco in Canada? I didn't think they did. I remember an article about Canadians crossing the border just to go to Costco, and some of the Americans there having a serious (and lame) attitude problem about it. Maybe there just wasn't one in that partular part of Canada.

They have had costco here for years but I imagine it has been spreading and expanding ever that time.

Not only do they have Costcos in Canada, but (at least some) Costcos in Canada sell poutine in the food court. OK, not primal, but still...I had never seen a Costco with a deep fat fryer running until I visited Calgary. They also have a hot pepper relish in the food court that the US costcos seriously should start providing too.

Is the plastic tub safe? Just wondering, since coconut oil is pure fat.
