mmmm! That meal looks lovelyCongratulations on your anniversary
Meal of the day ... meal of the year ... meal of the decade ...
It's Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve is a very special day for me and Mrs - tonight is the night we got together ... well, possibly Christmas Day when we "got" together but you don't want to hear about that!
We got together on Christmas Eve 12 years ago.
Tonight, I cooked her a really special meal: Tea poached salmon, celeriac remoulade, roasted sweet potatoes, bacon, sauce vierge and cauliflower puree. With a solid bottle of Laurent Perrier.
Celebrations! We'd be very happy if you guys would raise a glass with us. Cheers all! Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Congratulations Paul! Hope you two have many more happy, Primal years together.![]()
Thanks ... our wedding anni is at the end of July, but we hold Christmas Eve as an especially special night.
Hubby and I got engaged on a New Year's Eve, we have been married 19 years. Your dinner looks fab!
Dinner tonight is fish for us, too. Whole pan-fried mackerel, blue Hubbard squash soup, green beans, roasted beets with lemon, green salad of mixed red lettuces and frisée with vinaigrette, baked red potatoes, and lemon granita, all from scratch.
However it happened: got together or "got" together, you sure are glad it did, and congratulations to both of you for it!
Congratulations! 12 years is certainly something to celebrate, and that dinner looks like a DELIGHTFUL way to celebrate it. :-) Best to you and the Mrs., and may you have many more such celebrations ahead of you!
Congratulations on your special night! The dinner looks lovely.
