Now, it could be due to my movement (or lack thereof in my opinion), but shifting to roughly thirds fat/carb/protein didn't seem to work out that well for me. Going back to my "normal" of 45F/30P/25C brought back better body composition and feelings of health and satiety, etc. Staying around these numbers keeps me well and happy.
And it's not due to fear. I'm certainly not "afraid" of carbs. I actually eat what I want when I want -- and that includes a LOT of non-primal things. For example, i don't "do" primal desserts. If I'm goin to have dessert, I have dessert and I don't worry about it. I hvaen't had dessert in a while, but yeah. I also had about a kilo of cherries in one day. They are so tastey when the are fresh!
So, somedays will be off this 45/30/25 situation. Which I figure is no big deal. It might be a big deal for other people who have health issues, etc, though.
Pros: Health, vitality, and strength
Cons: Gotta buy more weights to lift....get drawn into silly arguments on the MDA forums
Wow, I had never watched that video before. I searched once and saw some other video, or perhaps my stupid ancient computer couldn't handle this one, I don't know. It's really good. Thanks for posting it on a day when I had an hour and a half to myself to watch it.

Do you think it might be seasonal? As soon as it starts to get hot I crave carbs and to much fat makes me feel sick. When its cold though I can put away very fat heavy meals. So when it gets hot I lean up my meat cuts and add in fruit. It's a very noticeable phenomenon this year because we've had an up and down start to summer with intense heat (almost 40C the other day) and mild days. So I get carb hungry then fat hungry then carb hungry again.
So maybe that's why we get these arguments about carbs?
Seasonal eating with periods of keto and periods of higher fruit intake makes too much sense.

I've just finished watching that video on the previous page... holy crap! I'm never eating another coconut cream bar ever again. I wish I'd watched that video 10 or 15 years ago.
