    me too, RMS123 .............. a tsp of milk sends me into cramping that rivals any birth labor out there! And results in explosive diarrhea! I can do cheese and sour cream with just a little rumbling (and tooting ) - but milk just about kills me. I don't have any at all without a lactose pill - and I threw them all away MONTHS ago so I would stop eating our homemade ice cream!

    D: Large-ish bnles/sknls ckn breast pounded flat, 'breaded'in an almond meal, parm cheese, and herb mix... and pan fried in bacon fat.

    And speaking of coconut oil.....I just knocked back my first-ever TBS of it, followed with warm water chaser. I've become so used to not being hungry while I wasn't tracking food and restricting calories, now today I've got the hungries and I'm disappointed. I guess I was hoping this would somehow be easier. Maybe CO when I get growly will help - as will buying more avocados. I've had a small avo with scrambled eggs these last three mornings and have been a happy camper. Today the fat is low and i'm feeling it.


    Annnddd.....the penny just dropped - this wretched headache and draggy blahness is carb flu. Ack.

    Final figures for today:

    fat: 66%
    protein: 31%
    carbs: 3%

    too much protein... Couldn't get it in check.

    Chili Cilantro Lime Chicken was ok. Not sure why, but every time I make a chicken in the ol' pot, it gets dry and grainy. Very limey, not very chili-y. I laid off the cayenne b/c cayenne kicks my ass (I've turned into a spice wuss!), and probably should have left it alone. All I could taste was lime. Turned the rest of the chicken into "taco meat" by adding taco seasoning for lunches tomorrow.

    Plan to work out again tomorrow. Hoping for another 2 lb loss as well. Let's drain this excess water I gained over the holidays! 6 lbs to go to get back to where I was pre-holidays.

    Posted on facebook the 7 lb loss since 2 january... got lots of questions about paleo - including a "what do you do" phone call. Good times.
