    Fasting question

I was going to try the "eat stop eat" style of a 24 hour fast. From what I undertsand you fast 1-2 times per week for 24 hours, ex. 7 p.m. sunday until 7 p.m. monday. What I wanted to know is how do you break the fast? How much do you eat really is what I want to know.

Plenty. You won't be able to make up the whole 24 hrs worth of calories, but that's ok. Keep the food clean (don't binge on crap) and eat until you are satisfied. Try to slow down a bit so you don't eat to the point of discomfort.
Give me liberty. Exploration of other options will be vigorously discouraged.

I eat a normal sized meal and I try to make sure that I get the macro-nutrients that I'm going to need for he day. The first few times I would make a BAS that was a little too big and then I'd be stuffed. I've since learned that I need a normal sized BAS and to eat slower. I usually do about three 24 hour fasts a week these days.

And this fasting is to accomplish what? Fat loss? If so, has it worked?

Fasting has quite a range of benefits, from insulin-sensitivity, to increased autophagy and repair, to rebalancing hormone ratios.

After a fast Brad recommend's to pretend like the fast didnt happen in the first place, so you just resume your normal eating habits.

@MG, the benifits of a 16 hour fast are the same than a 24 hour fast? so the only plus is that the lost extra calories?

    Is this correct?

More or less. A few of the benefits improve very slightly past 16 hours, but it's more or less negligible.
