    Christmas Turkey

    Primal Fuel
My boss gave me a turkey for Christmas. I guess I'll cook some sides and give the turkey away. What nutritious non-fat/vegan sides do you suggest?

Bacon wrapped chipolatas (small pork sausages)
    Bacon wrapped Jalapeno poppers
Roasted potatoes in duck fat with garlic & rosemary

roast root veggies and mashed cauliflower (or turnip parsnip mash). Recipes available through Everyday Paleo & Make It Paleo respectively.

dessert: dates stuffed with mascarpone and sprinkled with glazed/candied pecans. Om nom nom!

Fresh Brussell sprouts halved and fried flat side down in bacon fat. Amazing.
    Simple sauteed mushrooms and onions.
Mushroom caps stuffed with a light sausage.

Snerb. I'm culinarily challenged and my only exp. w/ bsprouts was steamed and I cd.n't take the smell. Somehow or other your little reference to them in bacon fat piqued my curiosity. They were surprisingly good. Thanks.
