Yes. I don't have one and I do just fine.

Yes you can. I don't have a gallbladder either. There may be certain fats that bother you more than others, but unless you try you will never know
I don't have one either! I do take some liver herbs.
Yep, just put real food in your mouth, it's easy and tasty and I seem to be functioning fine without a gallbladder![]()
You know all those pictures of Adam and Eve where they have belly button? Think about it..................... take as long as you need........................
I had mine out a few years before starting my primal eating and have had few issues. I second the comment about fats, try them all and see how you react. I have had fewer issues with IBS and bile dumping since going primal and find that the only thing that really gets my system upset is sugar alcohols or a huge fatty meal. (I IF and sometimes eat very large meals)
SW on 10/1/11: 380lbs.
CW 12/13/12: 315lbs. (Was under 300#, added some muscle :-) )
GW: 10% B.F. 250lbs. - 275lbs. (6' 4" tall)
Thank you all. I've been to my MD and he agrees with you. "It should be no problem", the liver produces a contant drip of bile, which processes the fat. So the bad reaction I had to 1.5 tsp of Coconut Oil just means my system does not like and does not process Coconut Oil.
I've asked for a referral to a Naturopath in my area, and the MD says he'll fight for it.
This forum is really helpful.
Coconut oil can cause issues for people with intact gallbladders as well. It is something that most people have to start very slow with and build up.
Using low lectin/nightshade free primal to control autoimmune arthritis. (And lost 50 lbs along the way)
