If the stuff is homemade, then they probably feel proud of it.
Try telling them that you're diabetic.
Plates and plates of sugar coated, chocolate dipped treats have invaded my office.
Its not really that hard to say no. The first month was hard, but not really now. (although i still really miss peanut butter).
BUT WHY>>>>do people feel the need to make you feel guilty because you wont eat the shit they bring in?
So frustrating!!
I wanna say.. you wanna make me a treat? Go get me a grass fed steak!

Yes i know how hard they worked on it.. and having OVER eaten these treats in the past i stated how wonderful the looked and smelled. Thanked them for the effort, but im avoiding sugar.
Finally after the fourth attempt i simply said, if i eat that right now im going to have to spend the rest of the day on the toilet!
Send them a subliminal message by bringing in your own homemade HEALTHY treat. Like dates and figs and maybe some nuts.

Man, nobody is baking stuff. It's all just pre-packaged stuff. I'm just glad no one has brought in pfeffernuesse. I would hide them and eat them all.
It's Christmas time for heaven sake! Eat those dirty carbs on your plate and do plenty of cardio for damage control…
If you don't want anything homemade, just be polite about it.
As for the purchased crap...I never ate that stuff pre-primal. Honestly, I hate it when people bring crappy sweets from WalMart and cheap ass places for "events". Go to a proper bakery at least. I used to go to a vegetarian potluck and would spend a lot of time and money to make something delicious. OK, maybe not to us, but....I made awesome vegan chocolate chip cookies. Then someone would bring in Chips Ahoy. Or a &^%^&% Dominos Cheese Pizza. Or a bag of whole wheat bagels. I would not feel bad telling someone that you just don't eat crap from the WalMart Bakery if they pressed the issue.
