full fat geek yogurt is my treat
I used to feel deprived all the time when I was eating healthy. Lately I have discovered a few fully paleo compliant "junk food" replacement recipes that have made my diet so much more enjoyable. When I eat them I get all the temporary enjoyment from eating these recipes and afterwards I don't feel guilty, in fact I feel good because I ate healthy food.
So right now my two favorite recipes are paleo sweet potato fries and also paleo tortilla chips with guacamole. I eat each of these at least once a week.
Right now I can't wait to discover more primal replacements for junk foods I used to enjoy. Please share any recipes (with links) of your favorite primal or paleo junk foods. I hope to get some good ideas from all of you. I am hoping to get an ice cream maker for Christmas, so I plan to be making paleo ice cream soon. If anyone knows a good replacement for ketchup to put on sweet potato fries, please let me know.

I like me some pork rinds
Jerky, cheese, macadamia nuts, smoked salmon. Aged salami when it is in the house.
Tostones fried in coconut oil. Or palm shortening. With salsa and guacamole. And sour cream.
Guac on (unsweetened) plantain chips.
I love mixing raw cocoa powder, water, and coconut oil; to make a fantastic fudge substitute.
Wayne - if you're interested in some condiments (such as ketchup), there are many sources. I have heard very good things about the book, "Well Fed", which is a paleo cook book; though I'm sure most of us here have heard of it. Also, this website (Homemade Paleo Condiments | Paleo Diet Lifestyle) has several condiment recipes as well. Good luck!

Home-made chocolate. 100% coconut oil and cocoa bean, with a dash of honey and, in my case, some nuts and dried fruit.
Not only is it Paleo/Primal and not bad for you, it's technically GOOD for you.

Perfection is entirely individual. Any philosophy or pursuit that encourages individuality has merit in that it frees people. Any that encourages shackles only has merit in that it shows you how wrong and desperate the human mind can get in its pursuit of truth.

I'd apologize, but...
