Completely working for me and my wife. And we can really tell when our 4-year old eats closer to primal than not. Much harder to manage behavior when she is on sugar and pasta. (We try to keep things primal, but between visits to friends houses and school, we sometimes slip)

Our four year old does well, too. He's also really strong and healthy.

The veggies end up being a complementary adjunct to the meat such as mushroom

Same here, don't know if this is primal or just genetics, but I seem to have really dense children, I went to pick up a friends 2 year old a while go and I nearly threw him over my head (like when you expect a box to be full and it's empty) and his dad went to pick up my little one the other day and nearly thew his back out, accused my of putting her in lead lined clothing
You know all those pictures of Adam and Eve where they have belly button? Think about it..................... take as long as you need........................

Yeah, same. The kid weighs 48 lbs and is 3ft 7. Average is 35-37 lbs and 3 ft 1. 97th per for weight and 88th percentile per height and NOT fatty in any way. You can see his leg, arm, and back muscles. Tummy muscles, too, really. but he has the round baby belly.

It's amazing how much bigger and heavier he is from other kids. And more active too. It's fascinating. Today, he went to a playcenter and did construction for 4 hours. (saws, hammer and nails).

Interesting, dense kids. Probably partly due to bone density (in addition to lower BF content). Primal has also cured my osteopenia.
