I've become less fussy and thankful for friendship and kindness from any source. No, I don't have a tribe, but I do have people
(odd, different, with odd and different views) who I care for and who care for me. It's enough. And, just like families, tribes would not have been homogeneous or agreed on every topic - strength comes from having access to different thoughts and opinions. Don't look gift horses in the mouth and don't reject people just because their outlook/diet/politics/aesthetics is different than yours. Be humble, recognise kindness when you see it and certainly practise it yourself.
