I've been applying the Primal Blueprint to my life for a week or so now. Last night, as a snack, I had some chocolate covered almonds. I probably had a few more than I "needed" and I was feeling it. First, those few almonds ended up being 1/3 of my carbs for the day (rather, the chocolate on them was) - 50 grams. Second, my heart wasn't racing, but I could definitely feel the extra sugar in my body as it pumped with more "oomph."
Amazing how your body can adjust so quickly to a new way of working, and then having it pointed out so clearly with a simple change like that!
