Just made 2 pots recently Doc:-) Here ya go...
I roast my bones(covered in olive oil and pepper) for about 20-30 mins. Then into the crock-pot, cover with water, add spices.
My spices are:
Peppercorns- usually a couple tablespoons
Salt to your taste-can always add more later
Cumin
Oregano
3-6 cloves garlic
Sometimes a few slices of fresh ginger(gives it a nice taste)
Then i let that sucker cook for at least 24 hrs...Good luck with the baby, and enjoy your broth. I have a cup a day minimum. Natures Gatorade
