I tend to get vertigo easily (not the same, I know), and the only thing that makes it better is a trip to the chiropractor. Find a good one in your area and see if it helps.
Wondering if anyone suffers from Tinnitus (constant ringing in ears) and if they found anything at all in the way of nutrition etc that helps with it??
Thanks in advance

I have a mild case. My grandfather had it more disturbingly. I haven't found that becoming primal has changed it. It is worse if I'm congested or conversely, on those really hot days when I spend almost 24 hours in an air conditioned environment.
Tinnitus is caused by numerous things. Diet changes might help some people but there are umpteen things that can cause it so your mileage may vary.

I have a noise induced hearing loss (tinnitus). not much , diet wise helps. have had this for decades, but recently , my ENT gave me a sample bottle of Lipoflavonoids- it WORKS! it actually does lessen the tinnitus. i wish i had an organic tinnitus, but mine is from loud environments and standing next to load speakers(marshall amps-led Zeppelin, etc!) . it is $30 a bottle though ! i use it when i have I little extra money, but it really does work. can get it at most pharmacies.

unfortunately, diet will have no impact on tinnitus. sorry.
"dean ornish and dr. davis think the palmitic acid our bodies use for fuel while we sleep is poison if we eat it. zero-carbers like charles washington think the oldest fuel in our evolutionary history – glucose - used by organisms a billion years ago and without which the brains of modern mammals cannot survive for more than a few minutes – is an unnatural toxin if you eat it. both views ignore basic facts of medical physiology and defy evolutionary history." - kurt harris
I have tinnitus very mildly, but the buzzing sound definitely gets worse when I drink too much coffee - like four big cups a day instead of the usual two.

I have had tinnitus for years now. The doctors aren't sure if it was caused by me being a percussionist, or from a genetic disorder I have that has (and will continue) to effect my hearing. Whatever the cause, it's pretty serious for me. I do notice that as my blood pressure rises (from stress or whatever the cause) it gets worse. Whatever causes cranial pressure too, such as headaches seem to amplify it.
But diet? Other than helping to keep headaches at bay and blood pressure down, it has done little to nothing for my tinnitus. Sorry for the bad news!
I have had tinnitus for over 30 years. I have found nothing that has improved it. Sorry to say. Combination of sirens and heavy metal music did me in.

I've had tinnitus since working at a stupid factory job near noisy die cutting machines when I was young, foolish and broke. Wherever I go I have earplugs in my purse now, because you never know when you'll find yourself victimized by loud noise. I have not found any cure. I just know two things make it worse: a long car ride, and aspirin.
It bugs me that I can go camping in a wilderness where you can't even hear cars, and rather than the silence below the pines, I hear my own whining damaged nerves.
