Sounds exhausting.
Hey guys,
I've been working out for the past 2 months. Mostly compound, fuctional, full-body exercises like squats, rows, dumbbell presses, deadlifts, pullups, etc.
My workout tomorrow consists of the following:
Dumbbell Plank Rows x 8 (40 lb dumbbells)
Burpees x 8
Dumbbell Presses x 8 (40 lb dumbbells)
Alternating Split Squat Jumps x 8
Dumbbell Squat Cleans x 8 (40 lb dumbbells)
I can rest for 1-2 minutes after this superset and then I have to do it again for a total of 4 times.
I know it's gonna hurt!

Sounds exhausting.
Female, 5'3", 48, Starting weight: 163lbs. Current weight: 135.
Starting bench press: 30lbs. Current bench press: 75lbs.
Looks like a cardio weight circuit....
Wow, for me that would be a challenge, especially when doing it for time. Good luck! Second day post workout oughta feel nice.![]()
Lurker since September 2010; "Primal" (I'm not a food Nazi for myself) since March 2011. Doing well on low two-digit BF and 159lbs being 5ft.10. Gaining some weight and mass doing more strength work next to MMA cardio (so yeah I eat a lot of carbs, some days even more than 100 grams a day!)
Yeah, I guess it's called HIIT with strength training. Monday was deadlifts x 8 (165lb) followed by plyo-pushups x 8 followed by lunges with dumbbell presses x 8 (45 lb dumbbells) followed by burpees.
I don't know if it's Paleo, but it's TOUGH.
It's good ol' circletraining using a giant set. Yes, your heart will go pretty fast doing this...
Have you considered doing each exercise one after another for 4 rounds? I feel like that might suck more and rev up the intensity to a higher level.

Hey Jimmy,
Yeah, I do all of the exercises, one after another and then rest for 1-2 minutes before doing it again. After completing 2 cycles, I feel like crying... lol
