I just use my cheap piece of shit mill from wal-mart, seems to work just fine. I'd like to have a nice one, but if it works, why fuck with it?

If you have a stand mixer, there are attachments that do virtually the same thing. I use one every year to make applesauce etc. We recently made 13 pints of apple butter and 5 or 6 pint of blackberry jam. The sieve did a great job of eliminating the seeds from the blackberries in the jam.
