bodybuilding type training and carbohydrates
Guys, I'm wondering if there is any benefit to being in ketosis on a calorie surplus? I'm trying to gain some mass right now, but needless to say I'd like to keep it as lean as possible. So should I be completely restricting carbohydrates (on training days also?) or should I add some back in to gain weight? I have used glucose polymers like dextrose in the past to rapidly replenish muscle glycogen pre workout, but I'm worried i'm just not eating enough carbs to induce growth. Can I grow without carbohydrates? Am I risking excessive fat gain with a surplus of fats? Any insight would be helpful! thanks!
