This might not be a good sign...

But smelling my roommates dinner is literally making me want to throw-up right now and the smell is ALL over the apartment.

Granted, he doesn't eat primal at all (the contents of his dinner would disgust you), but that's not the point here...

Has eating primal made me SO sensitive to non-primal foods that even the smell of them bother me now? If that's the case, that almost seems like a downfall to primal living. Most people don't (and probably never will) eat primal in this world so if you can't even stand to smell their food... Ugh.

Yes... I find the smell of most restaurants that FRY absolutely disgusting.
I can even smell it outside them, sometimes when just driving past...
    Rancid grease smell.

And that's why I'm here eating HFLC Primal/Paleo.

Yes, that's pretty bad. I might have to tell my roommate not to eat when I am around (totally not possible, but I can dream, right?).

Ugh, eating with friends who refuse to eat primal is getting harder and harder and so much of human social interaction these days involves food. *sigh*

Eating primal DOES involve some sacrifices...

Yep, the place that used to be my favorite take out chinese eatery now just about gags me. It's inside the asian supermarket where I still shop so I have to smell it.

I can tollerate small amounts of things like sushi and sashimi pretty well because they usually are just a little steamed rice and fish, but much else in Asian restaurants, ugh.

I have a Vietnamese friend who wants to take me to Vietnam where he says aside from the gallons of rice they eat daily, you can eat pretty well since they usually use coconut oil and coconut milk and animal fats to cook with rather than the soy and canola and corn oils typical in American restaurants of the Asian persuasion.

    Sounds delightful to me actually.

I had a brief vegetarian period where I disliked the smell of meats, but now that's gone. What REALLY gets me is that I can smell rancid fats (high poly fats used in everything processed these days) and THAT is awful. Ugh.

My roommate's dinner of an entire microwaved large frozen pizza, two Pop Tarts, a bowl of microwaved popcorn with "non-dairy butter topping", and stack of Keebler cookies must be loaded because I can smell it a mile away, and the smell is not good.

I remember disliking the meat smell when I was younger, but not as much as I dislike THIS smell.

There is no worse smell then someone deep frying inside with rancid oil.

You know, I disagree with a LOT of what you say around here, but this, is truth.
