So I've been primal for about 11 months now, and one change that I'm really happy about is that I'm able to run again. When I was in high school I really liked running but after I ripped my M.C.L I couldn't run any more. I recently moved to Japan and started running again. I'm up to about 7.5 km in an hour with getting stopped by multiple street lights along the way and running at a slightly medium to slow pace. Anyways, here's my question: What's the best way to train for a 10 km marathon. A friend asked me if I would like to run in one, and I decided that I would really like to since it's on my list of things to do why I'm still young and capable. Should I just run, or should I mix in walking and hiking and stuff like that?
(take into note, that my 7.5 km is only my second 3rd time running after 2 almost two months of being here, so it's basically my starting distance)
