    do triglycerides cause insulin spike?

    I think it's the other way around. Too much sugar ,grains will raise your triglycerides

    High triglycerides may be indicative of blood sugar/insulin issues, but in and of themselves will have no DIRECT inpact on your insulin levels as I understand it. Triglycerides may also be a warning sign for heart disease.

    Are you talking about dietary TG (fat) or having elevated blood TG?

    Did you read the article you linked? It is discussing protein and insulin response, not fat/TG. It also is loaded unjustified conclusions from meaningless data.
