    Primal Fuel
Or fix yourself a homemade Italian soda, using real cream, sparkling water, and fruit juice

I second this. Bubbly, nill calories, tangy, and good probiotic.

How can people drink diet sodas anyway? They taste like shit I use to wash my stove with. They're absolutely pointless except for being a nasty chemically sweet bubbly water caffeine delivery vehicle. That shit isn't even food, it's a friggin' drug, and a hormonal disaster.

What about seltzer? I'm a former diet soda junkie (and still go back from time to time... sigh) BUT normally I abstain and the seltzer is what helps. Adirondack seltzer makes a orange cream seltzer that is pretty darn tasty.

I was ridiculously addicted to soda. I gave it up on August, and it amazes me because I've never really missed it. I transitioned to smoothies, but got sick of them. Now, anything other than water tastes...artificial. Occasionally I'll add lemon or lime with some ice. I figured soda would be next to impossible for me to give up...however, I never figured I would have a problem giving up peanut butter but Holy Hell that's my biggest roadblock at the moment.

Sucralose has more similarities to pesticides than food. The chemical bond is related to chlorcarbons (most pesticides are chlorocarbons rather than that of salts. It is chlorinated sugar from what I remember.

No long terms safety studies. The studies that have been done are on rats, and not always favorable (shrunken thymus gland, lowered beneficial gut bacteria). The FDA is playing both sides here: accepting the manufacturer's data on rat studies because they say rats digest the sweetener like humans, but dismissing the safety questions raised on other studies because they were done on rats and not on humans.

I'd stay away. Find another drink.

Guess my post did not go thru...try again.

Oldest is a Holistic Nutrionalist and had been after me for years about drinking diet pop/soda. She claims it's one of the worst things to put in your body because of the acid. Throws your whole body out of whack. Think back if you will, to a simplier time. We would take a dirty old penny, put it in the bottom of a glass and fill it with pop/soday. Week later, "magic" the penny was shiny as new. If it can do that to a penny, what's it doing to your guts??????

    I don't drink pop/soda ANY MORE!!!!
