Hey, I am currently trying to lean out for 2-3 weeks, just because i put on 2-3 pounds of fat while adding muscle for the last few months. I am going to go VLC for a while, and i read that the body burns more calories while in ketosis. I am currently in a 500 calorie deficit, but if i were to go into ketosis would I really be in more of a deficit? I don't want a bigger deficit than 500 because i'm trying to maintain my muscle mass. Any replies would be helpful, thanks.
