Not going to post something so that others can make rude comments and be judgemental. Was trying to make conversation.

Inasmuch as astrology, prophecy, fortune-telling, etc., are complete bullshit, no, I'm not preparing for anything particularly cosmic to occur.

I hereby prophesy that the world will look approximately the same on Dec 22, 2012 as it did on Dec 20, 2012!
Today I will: Eat food, not poison. Plan for success, not settle for failure. Live my real life, not a virtual one. Move and grow, not sit and die.

focus on something real, like starting fewer desperate threads.
"dean ornish and dr. davis think the palmitic acid our bodies use for fuel while we sleep is poison if we eat it. zero-carbers like charles washington think the oldest fuel in our evolutionary history – glucose - used by organisms a billion years ago and without which the brains of modern mammals cannot survive for more than a few minutes – is an unnatural toxin if you eat it. both views ignore basic facts of medical physiology and defy evolutionary history." - kurt harris

Desperate threads? What is that supposed to mean?

I am preparing for the energy shift of 2012. When I can squat more than my body weight and deadlift 200lbs, there will be a shift alright.

Yes, I can't wait for millions of conspiracy theorists to cry out and suddenly be silenced when reality collides with their being full of shit.

Financial collapse, on the other hand, is not out of the realm of possibility. But then again we've been teetering on the edge of total collapse since the dawn of civilization, so nothing new there.

Just for the record, I wasn't posting a conspiracy theory. There was no doom and gloom, "the world is going to end", blah, blah, blah going on. It was actually a really positive way to look at the changes that our planet is going through, and I find it really interesting and thought maybe others might think it was interesting too. And, there is a lot of scientific fact that goes into the whole thing about our universe, other planets and what they are doing, and how the universe is changing, etc.

I don't believe anything bad is going to happen, quite the contrary in fact. And folks would have known that if they actually looked at the link instead of spouting off like I'm trying to get people to believe the world is coming to an end or some stupid shit like that. It's ok though, I'd rather not even get into the discussion about it if people are going to be negative and say my posts are "desperate"....whatever that is supposed to mean.

You need to grow some thicker skin....welcome to the internet, where people are rude and no one cares if your feelings get hurt.

So people were cracking some jokes. Ignore them or try to 'suade them.

I don't care about the jokes, lol!!! Jokes are totally fine, I just don't see why some have to go out of their way to be rude, for no other reason, than just to be rude. And it was only the one comment that jakey made that bothered me. But it seems about all of his posts reflect the same amount of negativity. It's unfortunate that he rarely has anything positive or constructive to say.
