Same. I recently reintroduced breakfast again and am a little surprised at how warm I feel.

I wasn't fasting for weight loss, so I'm not disappointed that my weight loss will presumably stop. I think my body likes me at this size.
Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.

I'm always cold -- fasting or no -- so I figured it was no big deal. It's a general sign of hypothyroidism, but I don't have any other symptoms, so I'm ok.

    I did save this guideline:
One 24-hours fast a week or one 3-day fast every month
Four 7-10 day fast once a season SPRING SUMMER FALL WINTER.
Healers- 21- 30 day fast once a year. Long fasting is great to rid the body of cancer, tumors and cyst; however, I do not recommend long fasting without the supervision of a fasting specialist.

I landed on this page somehow or another, and saved that schedule from here Fasting
A 21-30 day fast.... are you for serious?? I accept your caveat about being under supervision, but I can't see anything sound (evolutionary or otherwise) about depriving yourself of nutrients for such an extended period of time.

Also, you'd need a reasonable amount of body fat to go into that safely - assuming a base metabolic rate of 2000cal/day or 42000cal over 21 days, and fat burning at roughly 7000cal/kilogram, you're going to need an excess of least 6kgs at the outset. Power to you if long fasts work for you, not sure I'd be recommending them broadly though. I'd say a regular 18 hour fast and an occasional 2-4 stint would be sufficient to reap the benefits.

[Also, no offence but the website you linked is kooky]

I hear ya. I'm just the messenger. Just wanted to share where I got that "guideline", which I saved because I liked the idea behind the first part of at least one 24hr per week or one 3 day per month. I also liked the idea of the 7-10 day for each season, though I haven't done it yet. And when I do, you can be sure it will not be an absolute fast. I also had thought (hoped) you get the healing effects of autophagy in much less time than the 21-30 days they suggest.
    65lbs gone and counting!!
