On the refined CO, you should be careful with that. The type of refining is very important. I get the Spectrum brand, which is cold expeller pressed. I'm sure there are other good brands as well. The extra virgin CO is ideal I think, but I simply can't have that with any savory food and since I don't make sweet treats or drink BP coffee, I've had that large jar of Nutiva sitting in my pantry for over a year.
#2 I used to use the canola kind of cooking spray, but since going Primal I just brush some olive oil over stuff I used to mist the no stick spray on. If I'm too lazy to use the brush, a small piece of paper towel is used in its place.

Regarding cooking oil sprays, I know Spectrum offers a few different products. See this link: Spectrum | Cooking Sprays Made from Expeller Pressed Oils
Here are the ingredients in the EVOO Spray: First Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Soy Lecithin, Propellant (no chlorofluorocarbons).
Obviously, the Soy Lecithin and Propellant (Chlorofluorocarbons or No chlorofluorocarbons) are not ideal in a primal world. In my opinion, taking the extra 30 seconds to spread a tablespoon of oil or butter is a small sacrifice in the grand scheme of things.
Good info from all of you - thank you!
