1.5- 2 weeks until I get Fogging Molly back. Better than our next best quote, which couldn't even take her until about that time. I still want her back now, though.....

Naiad...looked at HEB for your dressing...they didn't have it. Didn't see a spot on the shelf for it either. All they had was Central Market Organics Balsamic Vinegar. Sorry. Have you tried calling your store & asking the grocery manager what happened to the one you liked? Maybe it could be ordered? Just a thought. Anyways...we tried!

I asked and they said something about them not getting it meant the main San Antonio office had a hand in it. I'm gonna call them and ask.

Sorry. I guess I missed where you had eliminated eggs too.

No worries, Jen. Because of Geek's egg allergy, eggs are an easy avoid anyways, most of the time. Avoiding peppers is the real bitch. We use cayenne or bells or jalapeņos in almost everything.

I did it. I ironed everything (that needed ironed) that needed to go to the consignment shop and gathered up all the scarves, belts, and shoes going. It's all ready to go in the car and get dropped off during lunch tomorrow.
I told the allergist I was trying to kill the sinus crud with the neti pot. He said it was probably not an infection yet, but inflammation and snot from pollen. He gave me a med to help keep the passages open, instructions to neti twice a day, and to use Sudafed and a mucus pill every day untill I clear it. If it gets worse, he'll call in abx for me. He also upped my Alvesco dose. Apparently, my peak flow is still too low.
Went to a barbecue shack for dinner. Got green beans (I know it's legumes, but green beans have been safe before), lettuce picked out of cheese and tomato, roast chicken and chopped brisket. The brisket had barbecue sauce in it, so I gave it to Geek and ate his sausage instead. Got sulfited. Grrr.... I should know better.
Cleaned more of the bathroom. Got the shower, toilet, sinks, mirror, counters, shower liner, and cleaned out the cabinet under my sink and the shared drawers. Still need to do the shared cabinets, the rugs, and the floor.
I need to take the Goodwill stuff, as well as the rejects from the consignment store Saturday, then clean my lab (my extra room.) If I can vacuum, clean my sewing/ jewelery table, and clean my desk, I'll consider everything else gravy. I'd like to clean the blinds, bookcase, mirror, and end table and maybe organize the closet, but those are optional.

Good job on getting all that stuff ready for the consignment shop. That's a big (and tedious) task.

I truly detest ironing, too, so standing there for a few hours ironing clothes I wasn't planning to wear was especially distasteful.
Sinus gunk seems gone. Still having trouble finding the correct head tilt for my right nostril. I can get my dominant side just fine, but the right takes finagling.

Oh, that's tempting. I have enough in savings to pay off my car completely. I won't, yet, because that would deplete my slush fund too far. In December, the slush fund would be roughly a month's expenses over the payofg amount. I might do it as a Christmas gift to myself.

Wow naiad!! You're really "fly-ing"!!! Great job!!

Well I'm weird...I love to iron. I iron hubby's & baby boy's work shirts, it's good "thinking" time for me. I've been ironing since I was old enough to reach the ironing board & I'm proud to say I've never burned myself or a piece of clothing! Mom hated to iron & I didn't mind, so that was my job. I don't like to clean house but I will iron away! Speaking of which...I have work shirts calling my name!! And laundry.
