Just trying to be complimentary.... but compared to eating baloney samiches, and beenie weenies, what you wrote about could be considered succulent fare.... depends on your perspective I guess.....

I figured it was meant to be a compliment, after the fact. I take things a bit too literally occasionally. Compliment away!

    Food pr0n to follow:
Lunch was salty fatty garlic sausage and summer sausage with crunchy orange carrot sticks and peels, tiny sweet cherry tomatoes, and sweet Fuji apple slices.
Dinner was dried sweet and tart cranberries, honey almonds, tangy bleu cheese, tender chicken, great wheels of tomato, and savory sweet sherry vinaigrette over crisp cool lettuce.

    Fury hath no hell...
TCEQ denied our well study. Again. Because this sea slug of a reviewer can.
The new boss gave me an impossible deadline while factoring in a week's dead time at the end of the project. Because he could. (I have resolved that, but even so.)
Another client kicked back a pilot study for two measly words, now waiting for approval to send to TCEQ.
Another client wants to change the issue date on a set of plans. Because they can.
    Anyone else see a theme?

How about we trade? Tomorrow you deal with the private security bureau and I'll mess with TCEQ...

I'd rather you deal with clients and office politics. I can handle outside agencies.

Oh yeah, food. Lunch was two Bodega batterless chile rellenos: Anaheim chiles, crushed tomatos, raisins, sour cream, roasted chicken, guac, and pecans. Dinner was a salad- field greens, feta, grapes, dried cranberries, chicken, apple, sunflower seeds and pecans. Plus 4 mugs of KE tea and some water.

I ended up getting free tickets to last night's showing of Broadway in the Basin's The Addams Family. Charles Addams is rolling in his grave. The acting was great and the singing was okay, but the writing did Addams a grave injustice. To sum it up, Wednesday falls in love and sings about puppies, butterflies and unicorns while wearing sunshine yellow, then Morticia tries to run away because Gomez lied to her. With plenty of perky, major key songs. The writer had obviously only the vaguest idea of what the Addams Family actually was. The characters also broke the fourth wall several times when a joke fell flat.
