Hi everybody. Doc has a theory that I may be suffering from the cartilage-weakening side-effects of having taken Cipro two months ago. (Kneecap randomly dislocated and collapsed... pulled a ligament under my diaphragm which caused breathing problems which caused pneumonia...)
I did find this thread:
http://www.marksdailyapple.com/forum/thread17371.html
but thought I'd ask if anybody else has suggestions for supplements that might help.
Currently taking:
- daily bone broth
- glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM
- my usual vitamins (plus extra omega 3)
Thank you!

throw in some vit C to help with gelatin absorption too.
Jenny's link mentioned "fucose" (not fructose).
Fucose
Going down a bit of a rabbit hole here....
AC
Thanks all. Sure, I'm already taking vitamin D, just didn't think to mention it in this context. And I get a lot of C from pineapple and veggies, conveniently. I take a multi and magnesium, zinc, some other stuff I can't think off offhand.
Fucose -- huh, interesting. I don't see anything joint-related there, though...? Or a mention in the other post, even. Must be missing something.
I did find some interesting info about free fucose alarming your immune system (inflammation) so maybe mega-dosing it is not such a good idea. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17697405
