Blech kind of day. Foster dog driving me bonkers. Every once in a while I get a dog that is just kind of annoying. Remind me not to take on a small dog again in the near future. I like the big 'uns.

    Breakfast:

    decaf with heavy cream
    few bites gluten free pancake
macadamia nuts, coconut, pecans trail mix (1/2 c)

    snack:

dark chocolate (damn!) chips; maybe 1/3c?
    carrot
tasted beef stew a few times.

    Dinner:

grass fed beef stew: beef, red wine, sweet potato, carrots, onion
1/2 acorn squash with 1T ghee
2 fingerling potatoes roasted in butter/garlic

    Sometimes I miss those potatoes!

No real measurable exercise today. Walked the dogs about 2/3 mile if lucky.

Eating breakfast this morning. I'm doing my weekly food pantry bakery pick-up and sometimes I have a hard time resisting the goodies. The coffee shop across the street from the grocery store donates day old muffins, scones, rolls that we cannot pass out at the pantry (not packaged to code). I drop those off for the daily pantry volunteers but sometimes the scones lure me in like a male siren.

    Breakfast:

big bowl of grass fed stew (beef/sweet potato)
    1/4 gluten free pancake

    Well, that didn't work.

    Snack:

1 large pumpkin walnut raisin muffin
2oz white chocolate. Really? White chocolate? Not sure when I've eaten that last.

    Lunch:

    bowl of beef stew

Walked an hour on the treadmill. Starting to get to the point that I'm not sweating any more. Should I bump it up a notch? Scared to do more pelvic organ damage so I think I'll be happy with what I've got thus far.

    Dinner:

A ton of butternut squash. A ton of it.

I think the fiber is starting to get to me. Ugh

Feeling fine. Attitude better. Some optimism showing.

    Breakfast:

went out with my friend to celebrate the birth of her first grandchild! I can't believe a peer of mine is a grandma. She had her son at 18 and gave him up for adoption. About 8 years ago he found her and they have been tight ever since. I love it.

2 scrambled eggs with ham, spinach and broccoli
    1/2 scone with 1T butter
1/2 caff coffee with heavy cream

Full! We will see if this carries me through the day. I am amazed at how hungry I get despite eating a lot. I think it is boredom.

    Snack:

    2T sunbutter
    1T coconut butter

    Dinner:

    lots of butternut squash
    1 oz chocolate

I seem to want to eat until I am stuffed once a day and then not want to eat much at all after that. What to make of it? It really doesn't bother me except for the fact I have to eat dinner with the family. I don't want to have to answer questions about my lack of eating at dinner, nor do I want to give my kids the impression that mom is restricting food.

Woosh. Long day at a cheer competition. Not willing to spend $2 on a bottle of water and forgot to bring my snacks. I was starving when I got home.

    Breakfast:

    1/2 caf with cream
    small bowl beef stew

    Late lunch:

    2 big bowls beef stew
oodles of dark chocolate while watching Badger Football game

It seems when I eat I eat until gorged. Then I'm good for the day. I'd literally be OK eating once a day, although that one time lasts an entire hour. I guess that might be how my ancestors ate: gorged on the kill.

Protein day! 1/2 caff coffee with heavy cream for breakfast

    Lunch:

3/4 # fatty BBQ pulled pork
1T frosting (daughter making it and I had to try it when she asked)

    Snack:

Not going to talk about it. Suffice it to say I'm not proud and it involved chocolate. This time of year is so hard for me!

    Dinner:

    1 whole kabocha squash

    Need. Fiber.

Walked 2 hours or 7 miles today, though. Beautiful day. Dog park and hill climb.

Stressful day: IEP meeting for my 6th grader. We need a plan to help him stay organized and improve reading comprehension. So tired of IEP meetings and teachers looking toward ME to solve the problems. Who are the trained professionals here?

    Breakfast:

    1/2 caff with heavy cream
2 pcs bacon plus 1T bacon fat (wanted to feel satiated. it works)

    Dinner:

    4oz BBQ shredded pork
1 whole baked buttercup squash with sea salt

IF from 6:30PM to 10AM. Half caff coffee with heavy cream

    early lunch:

    6oz pulled pork
    1/2 cutie seedless orange

    snack:

    3 oz ground beef
    2T cocoa/coconut butter
    1/4 c cashews

    Dinner:

    Teriyaki chicken thigh
    1/2 small roasted pie pumpkin

Not impressed by pie pumpkin. I thought it would taste like, well, pumpkin! Very tasteless. Won't do that again.

I have the same problem... well I have to eat dinner with parents or roommate, but I totally understand.
I am glad to see you are able to get out and walk again! That is awesome. The cold fresh air is actually feeling pretty good I think (in Iowa). How about some cross country skiing?
