My new nemesis
Pancakes... the last couple of days I have actually been eating regular pancakes post workout. I sub in coconut oil for shit oil, use pastered eggs and kerrygold butter with real maple syrup. God damn do these hit the spot after working out though. There are no real side effects (that I notice). I could dig up some paleo recipe but I seriously doubt they will compare to the texture of real pancakes.
I normally don't stress out about this type of thing but I could see this becoming a habit. Heavy squat day followed by a big stack = winning!
It's weird, I don't crave pasta, I don't crave bread, it's just pancakes. It's probably just a phase...
