I never could stand those things. The chocolate was cheap and didn't taste good. If it wasn't chocolate, I didn't want to eat it.

It's horrible that so many more people will be out of work not only during a ression, but also with the holidays on the horizon. What's even sadder is what's going on on eBay, boxes of Twinkies being sold for hundreds and thousands of dollars.
Like the person who posted on this thread about an obese woman wondering what she's going to do without Twinkies, what a sad commentary on our society that a "dessert cake" has so much status that someone thinks that they can't live without it.
Down the line, someone will buy up Hostess and Twinkies will be back, and I pity anyone who would drop $2,700 on "the last" box of Twinkies. By the way, the warehouses are full of the "tasty" treats!
