Carbohydrates for fertility and recovery from hypothalamic ammenhorea

    Primal Fuel
This is such a great post that helped me a lot and I hope it will help you too! If you've suffered from ammenhorea or are recovering from an ED take note ladies, 100-150g of carbs at a minimum is recommended for healing.

Uh oh, I think there's going to be some opposition to this. I definitely think one's diet should be customized to their needs and responses to certain foods and food groups. If we are to believe that food is our medicine, then it follows that not everyone needs the same prescription and dosage.

I don't really see why there would be opposition. This is the maintenance level of the carb curve. But, I'm not a lady so I'll leave the thread

Just seems to be the rhythm of the board; someone mentions carbs and heated debate ensues. Heh

The carb curve was written by a man who was not naturally muscular.
F 5 ft 3. HW: 196 lbs. Primal SW (May 2011): 182 lbs (42% BF)... W June '12: 160 lbs (29% BF) (UK size 12, US size 8). GW: ~24% BF - have ditched the scales til I fit into a pair of UK size 10 bootcut jeans. Currently aligning towards 'The Perfect Health Diet' having swapped some fat for potatoes.

He has neither big muscles or flab.

I think that there is a lot of space for more growth, development and discussion of specific women's needs. Steph is doing a lot of great research and I think there's room within the PB for much much more discussion! Bring it on
