Blending Greens and Vegetables?
I am new to primal but i have just started out blending as well (not juicing) to keep all the fiber and macronutrients. I usually make a couple smoothies a day consisting of something like:
4 cups of spinach, handful of blueberries, coconut milk, and a tablespoon of almond butter or coconut oil
I try to keep out the sugar (trying to burn fat), anyone have any advice or recipes?
Has anyone had success with blending greens and veggies?

Kale is the 'super-green'! Try a little of that in there.
Also, for variety, cocoa powder, raw egg yolks, and unsweetened coconut.
You are on the right track. Good luck!

You can replace blueberries with avocado and/or tomato paste to reduce sugar or different taste. Hot peppers, lemon/lime juice, celery and cucumbers add well to this gazpacho style smoothies
For a hot version, try cauliflower (with coconut milk and mustard and some hot spice) or broccoli with or without a few carrots, turnips or rutabagas or pumpkin. These hot blends are great when it's cold outside or you want porridge-like food.
