Carbs in the A.M. or in the P.M. or just w/protein

So here's my question. Do any of you find that eating most of your carbohydrates earlier in the day works
best in terms of energy levels, mood etc. or do some of you find later in the day works best OR does the
timing not really apply at all?

A few years back when I was in much better shape physically I went to a nutritionist that pretty much looked
at what and when I ate and said to do this:
    Protein for breakfast
    Protein for lunch
Protein for afternoon snack along with a carbohydrate source and a fat
Then to eat my carbs at dinner.

I was a carb addict at the time. I suppose she could tell this by looking at my daily eating charts.

This is what happened when I did what she said:
I gained 4 pounds and lost 3 percent body fat.
Being a female at 15% body fat and having it drop to 12% in a month by just shifting the whats and whens
of my eating plan I was really impressed with my results.

I posted this question because I am always hearing the opposite, no carbs at night for best results.
Does it really make a difference when you stick with eating primally all the time? (I am not doing this perfect
yet but trying to!) What are your experiences?

This is basically what I'm doing.

Almost all the carbs end up being at dinner. I ended up this way naturally though. Since I'm trying to be stricter and dial down the carb levels I've had, I find it easier to be super strict for breakfast and lunch but in the evening it is more difficult to be strict.

Nice to know this has the potential to bump down my body fat!

I eat them for lunch, tea time and dinner. Eat them when you feel like it.

i don't think it matters, particularly. if you find that doing it one way 'feels' better, go with it.

It sounds like you're lean and healthy so you should continue to do what works. Don't fix what isn't broken. All that no carbs in the pm stuff is ridiculous.

Eat the carbs in your latest meal(s) for the day to replace what you have lost of glycogen throughout the day...

I've done really well eating them at dinner or later. I tend to sleep better if I have carbs a few hour before bedtime also.

Would Grok make a point of separating carbs?

Grok probably didn't eat breakfast or lunch, so eating carbs in the evening is in the spirit of what Grok would have done anyway...

Breakfast for me needs to be mostly protein. This is the only way I can get through the morning without snacking / crashing. Lunch is usually a salad with some sort of meat sautéed in coconut oil dinner usually includes some potato . Sweet potato or rice. I sleep better with this at dinner
