Awesome. But there are better ways of getting your calcium and other nutrients besides grinding up and eating something that most people wouldn't consider food. You could eat eggshells, or a nice tasty chunk of beef shank with its connected tissues and marrow.

Calcium is one of the most needed / used minerals in our bodies .Lately a lot of aging people are needing knee or hip replacement and have other ailment due to a lack of calcium in their diets . A lot of it may be due to the high enviormental acidity due to industrial waste . Better to keep healthy levels of calcium in ones body before the problems start . The problems people usually have that are associated with ingesting high levels of calcium are usually due to them not having enough magnesium in their diets to utilize ithe calcium properly .

Here’s what’s contained in eggshell membrane:

Collagen – A fibrous protein that supports cartilage and connective tissue strength and elasticity.*
Elastin – A protein that supports skin, cardiovascular, cartilage, and spinal health.* As its name implies, elastin gives tissue its elasticity and the ability to resume its shape after stretching.*
Desmosine and isodesmosine – Two virtually unknown amino acids responsible for elastin’s elastic or ‘rubbery’ properties.*
Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) – Small amounts of glucosamine, chondroitin, and hyaluronic acid – vital polysaccharides that are structural components of your connective tissue, interstitial fluids and skeletal structure.*
Transforming growth factor-b - A protein that supports tissue rejuvenation, cellular differentiation and immune function.*
    Huh? According to whom?

You should be aware that societies with the highest dairy intake (and subsequent calcium intake) also have the highest rates of osteoporosis. What do you reckon could be the mechanism there?
