Dude, zip code rule.
Re-starting my primal commitment on Monday, but guys, I'm having a serious problem.
I'm an undergrad student, and I cant seem to find any primal meals to enjoy....
This becomes a big deal when I need a stress reliever, and can't have sex because my gf lives back at home. I don't hang out with anyone because I keep my nose to the books 24/7.
So when it comes time to eat, I try to enjoy my self, but I really don't enjoy the food I eat.
Any suggestions???
Dude, zip code rule.
The sky is falling!!!!!!!!
You don't like steak?
Chicken with the skin on?
Roasted veg in lard?
Well my school's chefs don't really do roasted veg in lard, they do have an awesome salad bar though, its just
Im doin heavy compound lifting 3 days out of the week, and, a salad takes so damn long to eat, and leaves me feeling hungry
so idk
what can I eat on the side of a big salad that'll leave me full and happy for a while?
Why can't you buy your own food?
What can you eat on the side of a salad?
Uhhh...
...steak?!?! Pork chop? Chicken leg?! How old are you man?! Your parents let you leave home?
GEEEEEZUS.
Ok I guess I should've been more specific, I thought someone on a primal website would be able to comprehend that most of the meat in a university cafeteria is not primal, or even passable to be in the "20%"
So,
"What can I get that is relatively cheap, primal, and will leave me full for hours"
canned tuna/salmon/chicken. keep that and some mayo in the fridge with dijon mustard and you have chicken/tuna salad in minutes. Try eating it on top of ripe tomatoes. Also, avocados keep just fine in a dorm room, eat with salt. Lots of options out there, just have to keep your eyes open.
awesome!! thanks
but mayo and mustard??
A good dijon mustard should be fine, don't get the cheap stuff, we're talking like $4.00 instead of $2.50.
I would suggest you make your own mayo, it's really easy, but I assume you don't have many kitchen appliances and it would be a pretty big hassle. They make some organic mayo's, I haven't found one that's truly primal yet, but I make my own.
