Wannabe senior long jumper page

I'd like to train for the Maine senior olympics and compete in the long jump.

Can anyone turn me in the right direction for a 54 year old to turn for a progressive work out/training regimen? The competition will be next Sept, so I have plenty of time to train.

In my college town in a rural area there is a masters track and field group that works out together and also helps coach the high school team. A friend who is over 60 still pole vaults. If there is a group near you it might show up here: USATF - Masters

Thanks Pamsc. No masters running groups within 100 miles. I'll keep looking though.
