I'd be worried more about properly handling those night shifts...sleep disruptions can be way more detrimental to your health than eating patterns. Getting your circadian cycles out of synch with eating patterns is a huge stressor on the body. If it's something you just do every once in a while, it may be no biggie, but if you are on rotating shifts, you may be really harming yourself.
